To All members and friends of Nagambie Rifle Club –

The Nagambie Rifle Club Inc is located on Heathcote Road Nagambie, 10km from the United Service Station in Nagambie and only 131 km from Melbourne.

We welcome all members and friends to the 2021 shooting season.

With Covid hopefully behind us it will be good to get back to a full shooting season.

Our 2021 season kicks off with an Internet competition organised by the Wangaratta Rifle Club on 13/3/2021.

The club competes in pennant competition in the Goulburn Valley Rifle association and travels to other associated clubs such as Karramomus, Katandra, Violet Town, Shepparton and Bendigo

Our interclub pennant starts on 24/4/2021 with a 5 match series before finals.

After winning the 2019 GVDRA interclub pennant series we look forward to similar success in 2021 – Maybe even winning the long range pennant series as well.

2021 marks an important year for our club –  On 8/5/2021 we will conduct  our first Open Prize meeting. It will be held at the Wellsford rifle range Bendigo.

All profits will be donated to the Variety Children’s Charity Victoria.

There is also a Major raffle being drawn on the day with fantastic prizes and a Saturday night social event with live music.  Join us if you can. We are looking forward to it.

For anyone contemplating Long range target shooting, now is the time to contact one of our Executive committee members to find out more about us.

There will be an extensive season of OPM shoots around Victoria in 2021 as well as the Victorian State Championships ( The Queens shoot) in April to keep the keen and competitive shooter well occupied this year.

The Nagambie Rifle Club and its members enjoy the social aspect of meeting at designated times and having a shot amongst friends, practice is an important part of rifle shooting, to maintain a level of accuracy.

The members enjoy passing on their knowledge from the years of experience and teaching the safety aspect of firearms handling, and we encourage new members to take up the sport in a family friendly environment.

The Club has a number of  “Come and Try it” sessions, where potential members are invited to meet existing members and are encouraged to trial the sport even if you do not have your own equipment, children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

“Come and Try it” sessions are held throughout the season

Anyone interested in coming to a “Come and Try it” session would be encouraged to make contact with the club prior to the day.

Restrictions exist on days of total fire ban days.
